Privacy Policy for App Lock: Lock Screen & Apps
Privacy Policy
App Lock: Lock Screen & Apps
Data Privacy and Compliance: Your privacy and data security are our top priorities. App Lock: Lock Screen & Apps is a privacy-protection app that only uses the data strictly necessary for core functionality (app locking, vaulting photos/videos, intruder selfies, etc.). We adhere to Google Play’s user data policies and international privacy laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA, COPPA) support.google.com. In line with Google’s guidelines, we are transparent about what data we collect and use and limit any data handling to the purposes clearly described (app security, analytics, and necessary features). We will never collect or use your personal data beyond what is needed for these features.
User-Provided Feedback: If you contact us for support or feedback, we may ask for your email address so we can respond to your inquiry. For example, one app policy notes: “If you voluntarily contact us, you may be required to provide…email address… We will use this data to respond to your inquiry.”. Aside from this scenario, we do not collect your email or any other personal contact information.
What We Do Not Collect: We do not collect or access any personal identifiers or sensitive content. In particular: no personal data (such as name, gender, date of birth, address, or email) is ever gathered or shared. We do not access your photos, videos, audio, or any files stored in the Vault. We do not collect biometric data (PINs, passwords, fingerprints, patterns) beyond using them locally to unlock the app. We do not access your contacts, messages, call logs, or a list of installed apps, and we do not use your precise location (only a general location via IP as noted above). In short, we never store or transmit your personal profile or content off your device.
Data Sharing & Sale: We do not share, sell, or transfer any personal user data to outsiders. The only data shared is the anonymous device-level information with our ad partners (as noted above) for running ads and analytics. We explicitly do not sell your data or use it for purposes outside the app’s functionality. Our policy clearly says, “No personal data is shared or sold to any third party”.
Information We Collect
Device Information (Automatically): Our app (through third-party SDKs like Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network) collects non-personal device data to operate and improve the service. This includes device model, operating system version, app usage statistics, advertising ID, crash logs, IP address (for fraud prevention), and an approximate location (derived from IP, not GPS). This information is used for analytics, performance monitoring, fraud detection, and (with your permission) ad personalization.User-Provided Feedback: If you contact us for support or feedback, we may ask for your email address so we can respond to your inquiry. For example, one app policy notes: “If you voluntarily contact us, you may be required to provide…email address… We will use this data to respond to your inquiry.”. Aside from this scenario, we do not collect your email or any other personal contact information.

Use of Third-Party Services
We use third-party SDKs for advertising and analytics (e.g. Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network). These partners automatically collect the device-level data listed above. We do not receive any personal data from these SDKs – they only process non-identifying data for ad delivery and crash reporting. By Google policy, all such third parties must comply with the same privacy rules we do (they cannot sell personal data)support.google.com. You are in control of ad personalization: you can opt out of personalized ads anytime in your device settings.Data Security & Storage
All user data and Vault contents remain on your device only. We do not transmit or back up any private files, photos, or PINs to our servers. In fact, our policy states: “All sensitive data stays on the user’s device… No vault or intruder photos are uploaded… No PIN/pattern/fingerprint is ever stored on our app/servers”. Where necessary (e.g. saving vault files), data is encrypted using strong AES encryption and kept in local storage. We use industry-standard security measures to protect any data that resides on your device. By design, once the app is uninstalled or cleared, your data is deleted.Data Sharing & Sale: We do not share, sell, or transfer any personal user data to outsiders. The only data shared is the anonymous device-level information with our ad partners (as noted above) for running ads and analytics.
