These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the mobile application App Lock (the “App”) provided by Technext (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1) Description of the Service
App Lock is a mobile security application that allows users to:
- Lock selected apps using PIN, pattern, or biometric authentication
- Protect selected photos, videos, documents, notes, and APK files using a vault feature
- Enable an optional intruder selfie feature to capture failed unlock attempts
- Use a scientific calculator tool
All vault files and intruder selfies are stored locally on the user’s device. The App does not provide cloud backup services.
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
3) User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Not use the App for harassment, stalking, or illegal surveillance
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the App
- Not misuse permissions granted to the App
You are solely responsible for:
- Remembering your lock credentials (PIN/pattern)
- Managing your vault files
- Restoring or unhiding files before uninstalling the App
Important: If you uninstall the App without restoring vault files, encrypted vault content may become permanently inaccessible.
4) Permissions & Device Access
4.1 Storage Access
The App may request “All Files Access” to enable vault functionality. This allows users to select and secure files on their device.
4.2 Usage Access & Overlay
Usage Access and Display Over Other Apps permissions are required to detect when protected apps are opened and to show the lock screen.
4.3 Camera (Optional Intruder Selfie)
If enabled by the user, the App may use the device camera to capture an image after failed unlock attempts.

5) Data & Privacy
Technext does not collect user account information such as name, email, or phone number through the App.
The App uses third-party services (such as Google AdMob and Firebase) for analytics, crash reporting, and advertising. These services may process device identifiers and app interaction data.

6) Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the App, including software, design, graphics, and branding, are owned by Technext.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
7) Advertising
The App may display advertisements through third-party ad networks. Ads may be personalized based on device identifiers.
You can manage ad personalization settings in your Android device settings.
8) Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Technext does not guarantee that:
- The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
- The App will prevent all unauthorized access
- Vault data will be recoverable after device reset, damage, or uninstall
9) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Technext shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data resulting from:
- Forgotten passwords
- Uninstalling the App without restoring vault content
- Device malfunction or factory reset
10) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
11) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12) Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws of your country of residence, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws.
